The Magnihill family business in Sk\u00e5ne grows, produces and imports frozen plant products and thus has high electricity consumption. To reduce electricity costs and do something good for the environment, they decided to invest in a solar farm.
A ground-based photovoltaic system was installed on an old spruce plantation adjacent to the farm. The forest had suffered storm damage and some bark beetle infestations and therefore needed to be cut down. Instead of planting new trees, the site now produces green electricity.<\/p>\n\n
