Solar Power Facade for Platzer Fastigheter: 132.8 kWp<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, we commissioned Platzer Fastigheter\u2019s new 132.8 kWp solar power system on a logistics building in their Arendal development area.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of our installations on commercial properties are done on the roof, but this time the analysis showed that the facade was a more suitable location for a solar power plant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why was the facade chosen for this project?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Since the logistics building is located in a windy area, we would have needed to reinforce the roof to withstand the wind loads the solar power plant would be exposed to. Therefore, we examined the building\u2019s facade, which turned out to have better conditions. One long side faces south, is relatively free of obstacles, and has a suitable structure. Our simulations of solar radiation yielded excellent results. Platzer, a leader in innovative real estate solutions, liked the proposal and quickly decided to launch the project.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is part of a partnership in which Alstra Energy is helping Platzer improve the energy efficiency of its property portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
