The project as a whole has been very successful, and we are extremely pleased with the result.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e4r Sv\u00e4rdson, CEO of Apotea<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sweden\u2019s largest solar power plant is located in Morgong\u00e5va<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Apotea took it one step further when designing the solar power plant at the logistics center in Morgong\u00e5va. The result is Sweden\u2019s largest rooftop plant, which also features the online pharmacy\u2019s logo. The solar panels cover the building\u2019s annual electricity consumption and more. The electricity not used in the building is sold to Sala Heby Energi, allowing residents in the surrounding area to benefit from the solar power generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8211; We are building a world-class logistics center where everything is designed with the goal of minimizing our environmental impact, from the choice of materials and lighting to heating and energy efficiency. By expanding our logistics center in Morgong\u00e5va, we also want to contribute to rural growth and enable a doubling of our workforce<\/em>, says P\u00e4r Sv\u00e4rdson, CEO of Apotea.se.says P\u00e4r Sv\u00e4rdson, CEO of Apotea.se.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Facts about the solar power plant<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The solar panel system on the roof covers an area equivalent to 2.5 soccer fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The entire system weighs more than 100 tons, the same as 20 full-grown elephants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It took 385 helicopter lifts to hoist the solar panels onto the roof.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The plant has 20 inverters that convert the solar cells\u2019 direct current into alternating current.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The solar power plant consists of 23 km of cable.
