Welcome to Västerås Sösta Munga Solar Park
In Västerås municipality, Västmanland county, Alstra Energy plans to establish a solar park with an installed capacity of up to 87 MWp.
The park is expected to produce approximately 74 GWh annually, which will be distributed to the public grid. This corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 15,000 homeowners.
With abundant sunshine and a reliable connection to the power grid, this location is perfectly tailored for solar energy. The workable soil ensures a low-impact installation that safeguards protected natural surroundings. When the project eventually reaches the end of its lifespan, the entire park can be dismantled and recycled with ease, leaving the land untouched and ready for other activities.
