Welcome to Horshult Solar Park
North of Traryd, along the Lagan River, a new solar park is planned. The park is expected to produce approximately 18,000,000 kWh annually, which will be distributed to the public grid. This corresponds to the annual consumption of approximately 1,500 homeowners.
The plan is for construction of the farm to begin in 2026 and for it to start supplying green local electricity in the same year. The electricity generated by the farm will not only provide the local area with access to fossil-free electricity, it will also help to stabilize the Swedish electricity grid.
This location is perfectly suited for a solar park due to its high solar irradiance, reliable grid connection, and soil conditions that allow for a straightforward installation. It also provides excellent opportunities to protect and integrate with the surrounding environment. Once the park reaches the end of its operational life, dismantling and recycling the components is simple, leaving the land immediately ready for its next purpose.
