Martin & Servera – 254 kW solar power on warehouse roof
Invested in a solar power system and utilized the roof space on the warehouse property
Restaurant and commercial kitchen specialist Martin & Servera hired Alstra Energy to install a solar power system on its warehouse property in Enköping. Warehouse facilities often have large, unused roof areas that are well-suited for solar power generation.
Facts about the solar power system
- 892 monocrystalline solar modules from Q-Cells, each rated at 285 watts
- Four inverters, each with 50 kilowatts of AC power
- A total installed capacity of 254 kilowatts
In early spring 2019, the system was completed on the flat cardboard roof and generates approximately 250,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year. Installing solar power early in the year gives you, the customer, maximum electricity production during the system’s first calendar year.
Martin & Servera previously installed a solar power system on its warehouse property in Umeå and also obtains 30 percent of its electricity supply from its own wind turbines.
