Welcome to Blommedal Solar Park
In the municipality of Motala, AlstraEnergy plans to establish a solar park with an installed capacity of 20 MWp.
The park is expected to produce approximately 18,000,000 kWh annually, which will be fed into the public grid. This corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 1,500 homeowners.
The site for the park is suitable for solar energy as it has good solar radiation, good grid connectivity, offers excellent opportunities to protect sensitive environments, and features easily workable ground for simple installation. Once the park reaches the end of its lifespan, it will be just as easy to dismantle for recycling. The land can then be immediately repurposed for other uses.
