Welcome to Gustavsberg and Sveneby Solar Parks
Alstra Energy plans to apply for a voluntary environmental permit for two ground-mounted solar power plants. The facilities covered by the consultation are Sveneby and Gustavsberg, with Gustavsberg comprising two sub-areas.
Together, the solar parks are planned to have a total installed capacity of approximately 138 MWp (DC). The estimated annual production amounts to approximately 142.5 GWh of renewable energy, which represents a significant addition of green energy and contributes to long-term sustainable community development.
Gustavsberg – subarea 1
Subarea 1 is planned to have an installed capacity of approximately 75 MWp, resulting in an annual electricity production of 76 GWh.
- Located approximately 2.7 kilometers west of the town of Moholm
- 143.5 hectares
- The properties Sunnerkällan 1:3, Smeby 7:14, and Aspetorp 3:1
- Located in Töreboda Municipality
Gustavsberg – subarea 2
Subarea 2 is planned to have an installed capacity of approximately 19 MWp, resulting in an annual electricity production of approximately 20 GWh.
- Located approximately 4.5 kilometers west of the town of Moholm
- 21 hectares
- The properties Sunnerkällan 1:3 and Kätttilsöna 1:3

Sveneby
Sveneby is planned to have an installed capacity of approximately 44 MWp, which
will result in an annual electricity production of 47 GWh.
- Located approximately 4.3 kilometers west of the town of Tidan
- Located in both the municipalities of Töreboda and Mariestad
- Characterized by a flat landscape of forest and farmland
- 62 hectares
- The Sveneby 1:4 property
- 47 GWh of renewable energy per year
