Växjö Rinkaby Norra Solar Park

Velcome to Växjö Rinkaby Norra Solar Park

IIn Rinkaby, approximately six kilometers south of the city center of Växjö in the municipality of Växjö, Kronoberg County, Alstra Energy plans to establish a solar park with an installed capacity of up to 60 MWp.

The park is expected to produce approximately 55 GWh annually, which will be distributed to the public grid.

The site for the park is ideal for solar energy as it has good solar radiation, good grid connectivity, and offers good opportunities to take into account environments worthy of protection. Current land use is forestry with planned forest. Once the park has reached the end of its lifespan, it will be dismantled for recycling. The land will then be able to be used as it was before the solar park was built.
